Eric & Christy Campbell – Mr. Electric Owners Since 2018

A career change can happen anytime, and for Eric and Christy Campbell, 27 years in healthcare and finance was the turning point. After conducting research on franchise ownership, Eric found that Neighborly® offered a strong support team, proven business process, and popular household brands, like Mr. Electric®. So in 2018, they launched a new location in Florida, Mr. Electric® of Lutz.

Together, Eric and Christy are building their business, focused on creating a long-lasting asset that will continue to meet their aspirations and benefit their family, including sons Anthony and Trevor. And with new advances from Neighborly®, including the rollout and growth of the company’s app, they believe their business will continue to hold court as one of the nation’s most trusted home services companies.

“Before we opened, we met several franchisees. We visited their locations to see their day-to-day operations and they received us with open arms. These guys have become family.”

Kevin Domingue – Mr. Electric Owner Since 2010

Kevin Domingue had long wanted to work for himself. After 30+ years as an established and well-known executive in the electrical field service industry, he was ready to take his impressive career in a new direction. In 2010, Kevin heard about a franchise opportunity with Mr. Electric and went on to purchase an established Mr. Electric business in Houston: Mr. Electric® of NW Houston, Katy, and Houston Midtown.

Kevin says he saw the opportunity in franchise ownership right away, citing the financials of the existing business and “not having to start from scratch” as the reasons why he made the acquisition. Now, Kevin works alongside his wife, Phyllis, who handles payroll, accounting, and administrative support for the business, and they’re focused on next-level success. “The growth potential for our business is unlimited,” Kevin explains.

As for the most rewarding part of his role? Kevin says it’s “sharing my knowledge and experience so others can fulfill their career and life goals.”

“I am always willing to help others by making myself and my staff available for phone calls, training, and advice—and just to bounce ideas around to help others with their issues or questions.”

Sean & Jeanne Dion – Mr. Electric Owners Since 2017

Sean Dion had amassed an impressive career working in the semiconductor industry and military. But this Air Force veteran was looking for his next challenge, and he found an opportunity advertised on LinkedIn. He attended a presentation from The Dwyer group (now Neighborly®) and realized that franchise ownership was a perfect match for his skill set and financial goals. In 2017, Sean launched Mr. Electric® of Queensbury, a new service location for the brand.

Today, Sean is focused on expanding his business, but his aspirations don’t stop there. He’s also excited about the possibility of purchasing another franchise brand in the future.

Sean appreciates the flexibility franchise ownership provides and when he’s not working, he’s riding his motorcycle and spending time with wife Jeanne and their kids.

“Hire people who are smarter than you. If you’re not an expert in something, hire someone who is.”
