BrightStar Care’s Monumental Avalere Health Analysis is Honored for The Most Innovate Use of Data in Franchising
GURNEE, ILL. // FranchiseMarketingSolutions.com // JULY 07, 2023 – Franchise Update Media conducted its 5th annual Franchise Innovation Awards contest this spring. The goal of the awards is to identify and recognize the franchisors creating and implementing the most original and successful innovative strategies and tactics to build their brand. BrightStar Care was recognized with the Most Innovative Use of Data Award.
“We are thrilled our strategic efforts, research, and dedication to acquiring data have been nationally recognized by Franchise Update through the publication’s prestigious Innovation Award series,” said Teresa Celmer, Chief Marketing Officer at BrightStar Care. “By commissioning Avalere Health, this study validated the power of BrightStar Care’s nurse-led care model to deliver superior clinical outcomes for patients and cost benefits for payers. This research demonstrated the significant role personal care providers play in lowering the overall cost of care by delivering quality home care services, and we are truly grateful the study is now deemed award-winning.”
A jury of judges evaluated the innovation, objectives, and results of more than 150 entrants. Franchise innovators, game-changers, and disruptors competed in four categories: Marketing & Branding, Products & Services, Operations, and Human Resources. Twenty-two winners were chosen from among the four categories. Each winner will be profiled in Franchise Update magazine.
BrightStar Care CMO Teresa Celmer also represented BrightStar Care at the 2023 Franchise Customer Experience Conference (FCXC) in June, in which she presented key learnings from the Avalere analysis during a special panel that recognized the Innovation Award finalists.
According to Franchise Update, for a franchise system to grow, it not only must add units and attract new franchisees, it also must develop systems and processes that boost unit economics. The role of operations here is to develop, systematize, and continually refine the practices that enable individual franchisees to grow, expanding the system. The most forward-thinking operations teams, which BrightStar Care was recognized as one, work to improve and streamline all processes and practices through innovations in technology, data, tactics, support, and more.
Technology and data are a large part of BrightStar Care’s long-term strategy to increase its nationwide customer count and reach the total addressable market eligible for home care. Over the last few years, BrightStar Care has released groundbreaking data and impactful industry studies that benefit and strengthen its entire franchise network.
