Pine State Services, a family-owned business in Westbrook, Maine, was doing well with its plumbing, HVAC and electrical services, but they couldn’t really get the sewer and drain division off the ground. “It wasn’t making any money,” says Sam Marcisso III, who was running Pine State’s warehouse for his father after working in New York for a few years.
