January 25, 2024 // FranchiseMarketingSolutions.com // VIRGINIA – Chem-Dry is opening a new Virginia location in Williamsburg, Virginia. The carpet cleaning service is backed by BELFOR Franchise Group.
The location opened in August, and is owned and operated by Don Rowe. Rowe has over a decade of experience in the floor and carpet cleaning industry, and worked as a general manager for another Chem-Dry franchise location for several years before assuming ownership of his own Chem-Dry franchise. In his free time, Rowe enjoys coaching youth sports and spending quality time with his wife and two children.
“I have been in the flooring business for over a decade now, and recently decided it was time for me to take the next step in my career by becoming my own boss. So, when the owner of the Chem-Dry location I worked for came to me and offered to sell me some of his territory, I felt it was the perfect business opportunity,” said Don Rowe, owner of Chem-Dry of Williamsburg and Hampton. “My familiarity with the brand, combined with my professional background in the field, made my decision to franchise with Chem-Dry quite simple. As I continue to establish my business as a trusted carpet cleaning partner within my community, I look forward to helping new and existing clients with all their cleaning needs using the franchise’s innovative cleaning process.”
Chem-Dry harnesses the natural cleaning power of carbonation to deeply clean carpets without soapy detergents. This process, known as Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE), uses about 80% less water than traditional steam cleaning. This unique approach to carpet cleaning results in a deep clean with faster drying times.
Ed Quinlan, President of Chem-Dry, is committed to upholding the company’s unique standing within the carpet cleaning industry: “Chem-Dry exists within a highly competitive industry. The entire Chem-Dry team can’t wait to see all the great work Don will accomplish within his community.”
Chem-Dry uses an innovative process known as Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE) to deeply clean carpets using a fraction of the water required for steam cleaning. What began as a simple trick for removing stains from clothing while on the go would define the company’s HCE process and change the industry forever as an alternative to traditional steam cleaning.
