November 10, 2022 // FranchiseMarketingSolutions.com // Tampa, FL – College HUNKS Hauling Junk and Moving® is teaming up with longtime community partner, U.S. Hunger, to provide much-needed meals for victims of Hurricane Ian. Through their collective efforts, College HUNKS and U.S. Hunger will be delivering 56,000 meals to Southwest Florida, which was one of the harder hit areas of the recent major storm.
“Florida is our home and our hearts go out to the people who fell victim to this destructive storm,” said Roman Cowan, Brand President of College HUNKS. “We are honored to join forces with U.S. Hunger to offer our support at this critical time. We have been partners with the organization for more than 5 years and are proud to continue this long standing relationship and to continue to do our part in fighting hunger.”
Teams from U.S. Hunger will be packing meals in the Orlando area. College HUNKS will be loading the meals into their trucks and driving the meals to Fort Myers for those in need.
Hurricane Ian hit Southwest Florida in late September. The Category 4 storm is considered the deadliest to strike Florida since the 1935 Labor Day storm. There were more than 90 fatalities in Florida.
