The conference took place on the heels of the company’s best December performance in over a decade.
Home repair and improvement company Handyman Connection held its annual franchise conference last month in Palm Springs, California, awarding multiple franchise owners for their business success in 2021 and recognizing 16 Craftsman Brand Champions from local offices across North America.
“It was an honor to gather with our franchisees and many of their best craftspeople to celebrate another exemplary year of sales and market growth for the Handyman Connection brand and their individual offices,” said Jeff Wall, President and CEO of Handyman Connection.
“We are dedicated to creating customers and craftsmen for life, and nowhere is that more evident than with our top- performing franchise owners and the talented men and women who share their passion for high-quality craftsmanship in their communities.”
The highest honor of the conference was 2021 Franchisee of the Year awarded to Joe Cox, owner of Handyman Connection of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
This award, which Cox has won in two previous years—is given to the franchisee who has excelled at attributes including sales growth, market presence and penetration, online review score and brand leadership. Cox was not only the top performer systemwide in 2021 but also earned the $2M in sales award and recognition for his growth in sales, which increased well over half a million dollars from the previous year.
