Shilpa Patel’s professional journey has been marked by diverse experiences and a strong drive for growth and success. She realized her business-mindedness when she became a general manager, operating assisted living and memory care buildings. Running and operating such a complex operation 24/7 pushed her out of her comfort zone as she led five departments with a total of over 50 team members. In 2021, she became a Regional Director of Operations for seven senior living communities in Utah and Texas. Before moving into operations, she spent 20 years in sales, which allowed her to harness leadership skills and be fulfilled by the challenge of overcoming obstacles.
Drawing on a consultative approach, Shilpa prioritizes building trust and understanding with both her team members and customers. By establishing meaningful connections and employing a customer-centric mindset, she fosters collaboration and unity, enabling her team to reach common goals. Known for her forward-thinking nature, Shilpa has developed a knack for anticipating operational issues, allowing her to pivot swiftly and make proactive decisions.
She aspires to apply these valuable skills to her new Pool Scouts franchise business, and eventually master and leverage them, aiming for complete confidence. Shilpa’s background makes her a perfect fit for Pool Scouts and we can’t wait to see her thrive in the industry.
In her free-time, Shilpa loves spending time soaking up the sun at the beach or lake, connecting with nature, shopping, and hanging out with her daughter, Kimaya, and their two fur-babies!
